2018/19 Hyundai A-League Season Draw Released

The Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season draw was officially released today, with the season commencing on the weekend of 19th-21st October.

The Newcastle Jets are on the road for Rounds 1 and 2, and will return to McDonald Jones Stadium in Round 3 to host Melbourne Victory in a Grand Final rematch. 

FFA's Head of Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League, Greg O'Rourke, said "there are three official themed rounds this season; Remembrance Round (4), rebel Female Football Round (5) and rebel Play Football Round (18). This edition of the Remembrance Round will be of special significance as it will coincide with the Centenary of the Armistace."

The Newcastle Jets will host Sydney FC in the Remebrance Round and Wellington Phoenix in the Play Football Round. With 13 fixtures to be played at McDonald Jones Stadium, the draw also features to F3 derby clashes at McDonald Jones Stadium. 

The Hyundai A-League 2019 Finals Series will begin on the weekend of 3-5 May 2019 with the Hyundai A-League Grand Final scheduled for the weekend of 18th-19th May 2019.
