Terms and Conditions: 2019 ‘McDonald Jones Stadium -Newcastle Knights Jersey Competition’


 

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

 

1. How do I enter the competition?

 

  1. To enter the ‘McDonald Jones Stadium, Win a Jersey Competition’ you must:
  2. Submit a in 25 words or less why you deserve to win the prize.
  3. Provide all relevant contact details in order for McDonald Jones Stadium to make contact as required.

 

1.2. All valid entries will go into the draw for a chance to win a Newcastle Knights Jersey on behalf of McDonald Jones Stadium.

 

1.3. The Total Prize is valued at $165 including GST (AUD). No part of the prize can be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred to another recipient. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

 

1.4. A valid entry includes the completion of all required information as outlined in item 1.1 b.

 

1.5. By entering your details and completing the fields, you agree to share your personal data for future McDonald Jones Stadium promotions and marketing. For more information, please refer to the Privacy Policies outlined below.

 

1.6. All valid entries will be accepted as one (1) entry to the competition.

 

1.7. Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 14 years and over.

 

1.8. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

 

2. When does the competition start and finish?

           

2.1. The competition starts at 9:00am AEST on 24/05/2019 and ends at 11.59pm AEST on 14/06/2019 (“Promotional Period”).

 

 

3. How is the winner of the competition being chosen?

 

3.1. Each valid entry received will go into the draw to win the prizes as stated in 1.2.

 

3.2.  Any entries without sufficient contact information will be deemed ineligible to enter the competition.

 

3.3. One (1) winner only will be selected on the date specified in 4.1 and notified via the nominated contact details. The winner has five (5) business days from the selection date to acknowledge the prize. An authorised representative from McDonald Jones Stadium will select the competition winner. No objections can be entered once the prizewinner is selected.

 

3.4 Should the five (5) business days expire, an alternate winner will be selected. 

 

 

4. How will I know I have won?

 

4.1. The competition winner will be decided by a panel of three McDonald Jones Stadium representatives  at 12:00pm AEST on Wednesday June 19, at McDonald Jones Stadium, located at 294 Turton Road Broadmeadow NSW.

 

4.2. One (1) entry will be selected as the winner. The the winner will be notified via their nominated mobile number and email provided. The winner has five (5) business days from the selection date to acknowledge the prize.

 

4.3. McDonald Jones Stadium takes no responsibility for any details that are incorrectly entered.

 

4.4 The winner of the prize will be announced on the official McDonald Jones Stadium website www.mcdonaldjonesstadium.com by no later than 5.00pm (AEST) on the 28th  June 2019.

 

 

5. Delivery of the prizes and use of winner’s details

 

5.1. Delivery of the one (1) x Newcastle Knights Jersey will be conducted between Thursday 17th June and Wednesday 31st unless a mutually agreed date is determined. The delivery of the Matador Barbeque Grill Unit is to be within a 50-kilometre radius from McDonald Jones Stadium or the winner is to organise collection from McDonald Jones Stadium unless a mutually agreed location is determined. All costs if not delivered within the 50-kilometre radius offer are at the expense of the winner. No part of the delivery component can be redeemed for cash. The Winner will make themselves available to collect the major prize as per the terms and conditions provided upon acceptance as the winner.

 

5.2. Acceptance of the prize by the winner means the winner consents to receive the prize as outlined in the competition, and will not attempt to sell for personal financial gain or gift any elements of the prize to anyone who is not the winner.  In doing so will immediately disqualify the winner and revoke their rights as the competition winner.

 

5.3. McDonald Jones Stadium will arrange a courier for the prize within a fifty (50) kilometre radius and pay a fee for this service as part of the prize. McDonald Jones Stadium do not take any responsibility for transport, courier, or postage of the prize outside of this or cover and damage during any stage of transport of the prize. By acknowledging yourself as the winner of the competition, you indemnify yourself to cover any associated costs for collecting the prize outside of the terms specified. The value for this delivery is capped at $300 including GST with no refund applicable if delivery costs are lower than the amount stated.

 

5.4. Decisions regarding prize logistics, costs and inclusions are at the discretion of McDonald Jones Stadium, with McDonald Jones Stadium decision being final and binding. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

 

5.7. Acceptance of the prize by the winner means the winner consents for McDonald Jones Stadium to use their details and photos for promotional and media publicity purposes for this competition and any future competitions, including on the McDonald Jones Stadium website and social media pages, for an unlimited period of time without compensation.

 

 

6. Our rights

 

6.1. McDonald Jones Stadium reserve the right to cancel or postpone any competition at any time and hold final decision to the validity of entries and the selection of the winner. McDonald Jones Stadium collectively hold the right to make any final and binding decision in relation to the competition.

 

6.2. McDonald Jones Stadium reserve the right to require an entrant to provide proof of identity and/or proof of compliance with any eligibility requirements and these terms and conditions.

 

6.3. McDonald Jones Stadium reserve the right to change any of the benefits offered in the prize due to reasons outside of McDonald Jones Stadium; however, every effort will be made to deliver as outlined in the competition.

 

6.4. McDonald Jones Stadium can, in their sole discretion, disqualify any entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in their opinion, who has not complied with these terms and conditions, tampered with the entry process or has gained an unfair advantage in any way or has won through fraud.

 

6.5. If this competition is interfered with in any way or we cannot run the competition as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, we reserve the right at our sole discretion to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.

 

6.6. Employees of the McDonald Jones Stadium, and their immediate families, are prohibited from entering this competition.

 

 

7. Our liability to you
